WARNING
Pipe thread sealing compound can
bum easily, can give off harmful
vapors, and Is harmful to skin and
clothing. To avoid injury or death,
keep away from open fire and use in
well-ventilated area. If pipe thread
sealing compound gets on skin or
clothing, wash immediately with soap
and water.
(36) Coat threads of two elbows (46 and 47)
with pipe thread sealing compound.
NOTE
Elbow hose connections must face
each other.
(37) Install elbow(46) and elbow (47)in brake
housing (48).
(38) Install bearing (49) and two dowel pins
(50) in brake housing (48).
(39) Install two new preformed packings (51),
backup ring (52), new preformed packing
(53), and backup ring (54) on brake piston
(55).
