Personnel Required
Two
a. Removal
(1) Position transmission assembly (1) so
yoke (2) is pointing up.
(2) Remove 21 screws (3), 3 screws (4), and
24 lockwashers (5) from rear cover (6)
and adapter housing (7).
Discard
(3) install lifting device on yoke (2).
(4) Remove and guide rear cover (6) away
from adapter housing (7) while assistant
operates lifting device.
(5) Place rear cover (6) on clean work
surface.
(6) Remove lifting device from yoke (2).
NOTE
Gasket may stay on rear cover or
adapter housing.
(7) Remove gasket (8) from either rear cover
(6) or adapter housing (7).
Discard
gasket.
