Remove nut (21) and lockwasher (22) from
spring lockpin (23). Discard lockwasher.
CAUTION
Do not strike directly on spring
lockpin. Locknut should be partially
threaded on spring lockpin before
striking. Failure to comply may
damage spring lockpin.
(19) Tap spring lockpin (23) out of rear bracket (24).

Keep hands clear of pin and spring
when removing pin. Failure to
comply

(20) Remove pin (25) from rear bracket (24)
and spring link (14).
(21) Remove bushing (26) from spring link
(14).
(22) Remove two bushings (27) from spring
(9).
b. Installation
(1)
Install two bushings (1) in spring (2).
(2)
Install bushing (3) in spring link (4).
