Check ECM
Connectors
l Turn ignition off.
l Check terminals at vehicle
harness connectors (both ECM
and harness side) for damage;
bent, corroded and unseated pins
or sockets.
l Check terminals in connector to
be sure B1 is wire #419 and B3
is wire #439.

Verify Repairs
l Turn ignition off.
l Reconnect all connectors.
l Turn ignition on.
l Clear codes.
l Turn ignition off.
l Turn ignition on while at same
time observing Check Engine
light.
l If Check Engine light stays on,
read inactive code.
