CHART -1 - INTERMITTENT CODE OR A SYMPTOM AND NO CODES NOTE: This chart is only to be used if: 1) All  basic  mechanical  checks  and  physical  inspections  have  been  performed  with  no  problem  found,  and 2) Diagnosis  of  DDEC-III  was  started  at  step  START-1,  page  H-25  and  you  have  now  been  referred  here. STEP/SEQUENCE WHAT  TO  DO  NEXT C 1-1 Diagnosis   by   Symptom Turn   ignition   off. Go  to  appropriate  result  in  the next  column  based  on  engine symptom. Intermittent code. Engine   cranks but will not start. Erratic  performance and  No  Codes. No   ‘Check   Engine” light  during  bulb check. “Check   Engine” light  always  on  and No  Codes. “Check   Gauges” light  always  on, and  No  codes. No data to DDR.
