TROUBLESHOOTING CHARTS

P100 4 - OIL PRESSURE CIRCUIT FAILED LOW (LOW VOLTAGE)
STEP/SEQUENCE
36-11
Check for Short on
Ground
l Turn ignition off.
l Remove jumper wires.
l Measure resistance between
sockets P2 and Y2 on the engine
harness.
36-12 Replace OPS
l Turn ignition off.
l Replace OPS (para 7-35.1).
l Reconnect all connectors.
l Turn ignition on.
l Clear codes.
l Start engine (TM 9-2320-360-10).
Run until “Check Engine” light
comes on or for 1 minute.
36-30 Verify Repairs
l Turn ignition off.
l Reconnect all connectors.
l Turn ignition on.
l Clear codes.
l Note status of ‘Check Engine”
light.
l If “Check Engine" light does not
stay on, start engine and run
(TM 9-2320-360-10) until
“Check Engine” light comes on
or engine has run warm (greeter
than 60 degrees C, 140 degrees
F) 1 minute.
l Read inactive codes.
