TROUBLESHOOTING CHARTS

J1587 CODE:
P100 3 - OIL PRESSURE CIRCUIT FAILED HIGH (HIGH VOLTAGE)
STEP/SEQUENCE
35-7 Final Check
Reconnect all connectors.
Turn ignition on.
Clear codes.
Start engine (TM 9-2320-360-10).
Run for one minute or until
"Check Engine" light comes on.
Stop engine.
Check active codes.

Check OPS Connectors
Inspect terminals at OPS
connectors (sensor and harness
sides) for damage; bent, corroded
and unseated pins or sockets.
35-30 Verify Repairs
Turn ignition oft.
Reconnect all connectors.
Turn ignition on.
Clear codes.
Note status of "Check Engine"
light.
If "Check Engine" light does not
stay on, start engine and run
(TM 9-2320-360-10) until
"Check Engine" light comes on
or engine has run warm (greater
than 60 degrees C, 140 degrees
F) 1 minute.
Read inactive codes.
RESULT
Code 100/3.
No codes.
Any other codes
except Code 100/3.
Terminals and
connectors are okay.
Problem found.
No codes.
Code 100/3 (and
an; other codes).
Any other codes
except Code 100/3
WHAT TO DO NEXT
Replace ECM (para 7-29.1).
Then go to 35-30.
Repairs are complete.
Go to START-1, pg H-25, to
service other codes.
Replace OPS (para 7-35.1).
Then go to 35-7.
Repair terminals/connectors
(para 7-77). Then go to 35-30.
Repairs are complete.

complete. Please review this
