Check ECM
Connectors
l Check terminals at the engine
harness connector (both the ECM
and harness side) for damage;
bent, corroded, and unseated
pins or sockets. Especially
terminals P3 and Y2 of the engine
harness connector.

15-30 Verify Repairs
l Turn ignition off.
l Reconnect all connectors.
l Turn ignition on.
l Clear codes.
l Note status of “Check Engine”
light.
l If “Check Engine” light does not
stay on, start engine and run
(TM 9-2320-380-10) until
“Check Engine” light comes on or
for 1 minute. Stop engine.
l Read inactive codes.
