WARNING
Jewelry can catch on equipment
and cause injury or short across
electrical circuit and cause severe
burns or electrical shock. Remove
rings, bracelets, watches,
necklaces, and any other jewelry
before working around HET
Tractor.
SPEED SENDING UNIT TEST
(1)
Disconnect Controller wire harness
from speed sending unit on transfer
case.
(2)
Connect negative (-) and positive (+)
probes of multimeter across terminals
of sending unit and look for
178.5-241.5 ohms on multimeter.
(3)
Connect Controller wiring harness to
speed sending unit on transfer case.
SPEED SENDING UNIT CIRCUIT TEST
(1)
Disconnect cab wire harness connector
from rear of controller.
CAUTION
Probe
only
terminals
indicates in step (2).
Failure to comply may
result in damage to CTIS
components, wiring or
test equipment
(2)
Connect negative (-) and positive (+)
probes of multimeter between positions
1 and 2 and took for 178.5-241.5 ohms
on multimeter.
(3)
Conned cab wire harness connector to
controller.

Change 1 2-863/(2-864 blank)
