RESTRICTION INDICATOR CHECK
(1)
Check reading on AIR CLEANER
RESTRICTION INDICATOR.
(2)
Press RESET button on AIR CLEANER
RESTRICTION indicator if reading is
between 15 and 20 (in yellow area) or
above 20 (in red area).
(3)
Start engine (TM 9-2320-360-10) and
check AIR CLEANER RESTRICTION
INDICATOR again.
(1)
Check air intake hose for proper
positioning. There should be no kinks
anywhere on the hose.
(2)
Check the hose for chaffing, cuts, holes,
tears, etc.
(3)
Check the clamps for proper positioning
on hose.
(4)
Check for loose clamps. It loose, torque
to 75-80 lb-in. (8-9 Nm).
