TM 9-2320-360-20-1 The  starter  motor  (7),  winches  (8),  Central  Tire  Inflation  System  (CTIS),  air  dryers  (9),  trailer  lights,  and  ether  injection system (10) are operated with the 24 Vdc system. The  starter  motor  solenoid  receives  24  Vdc  from  the  storage  batteries  through  the  engine  starter  magnetic  switch  aux- iliary  contacts  and  the  neutral  start  relay.    If  the  transmission  range  selector  is  not  in  the  N  (neutral)  position  prior  to startup, the engine cannot be started. Warning lights and gages that indicate system malfunctions include: CHECK GAUGES alarm, CHECK ENGINE indicator, and CHECK GAUGES indicator. Change 2  1-6.1 (1-6.2 blank)
