Check connectors at SRS (both harness side and
SRS side) for damage; bent, corroded, and
unseated pins or sockets, or bad contacts.
(1)
Turn ENGINE switch OFF.
(2)
Reconnect all connectors.
(3)
Turn ENGINE switch ON and clear
codes.
(4)
Start and run engine until, CHECK
ENGINE indicator comes ON for 1
minute .
(5)
Stop engine and read historical codes.
WARNING
Jewelry can catch on equipment and
cause
injury
or
short
across
electrical circuit and cause severe
burns or electrical shock. Remove
rings. bracelets, watches, necklaces,
and any other jewelry before working
around HET Tractor.
CAUTION
Use jumper wire only between
terminals indicated Failure to comply
may result in damage to DDEC
components or wiring.
NOTE
Refer to Appendix D, Illustrated List of
Manufactured Items for fabrication of
jumper harness.

Turn ENGINE switch OFF.
(2)
Connect 12 volts from a fully charged
battery to 6-pin power connector
(3)
Connect other connector.
(4)
Turn ENGINE switch ON and clear
codes.
(5)
Start engine and run until CEL
appears or for one minute.
(6)
Stop engine and read active codes.
