TM  9-2320-356-BD Procedural    Steps: 1. Gain   access   to   radiator. 2. Inspect   the   radiator   and   pinpoint   the   leak. 3. Drain   the   coolant. 4. Clean   the   leak   area   with   solvent   or   available   cleaner. 5. Scrape   or   rough   up   the   damaged   surface   with   a   wire   brush   or   knife. 6. Mix   epoxy   according   to   kit   instructions   and   fill   the   hole   with   the   mixture. Work   the   epoxy   well   into   the   crack. 7. Allow   epoxy   to   cure. Heat   will   speed   the   curing. 8. Refill   coolant   and   check   for   leaks. 9. Record   the   BDAR   action   taken. When   the   mission   is   completed,   as   soon   as practicable,    repair   using   standard   maintenance   procedures. 7-10. CORE PUNCTURED General   Information: A   punctured   core   can   be   repaired   without   epoxy   or   solder.   The   size   of   the   hole(s) may   cause   the   engine   temperature   to   rise   beyond   the   normal   operating   range. Check the    coolant    level    periodically. 7-7
