Troubleshooting Section
Test Step 5. Check the Switch Circuit for
the ECM.
3. Recheck the system for active diagnostic

reconnect the suspect ECM.

A. Turn the ignition key switch to the OFF position.

Crimp a Deutsch pin to both ends of the wires.

C. Disconnect vehicle harness connector P1 from
the ECM.
