HEATER/AC UNIT BLOWER ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

REMOVAL - CONTINUED
CAUTION
Use caution not to damage wiring when removing blower assembly from heater/AC unit.
NOTE
Tag wires to ensure correct installation.
Note routing of wiring to ensure correct installation.
5.
Disconnect two wires (12) from thermostatic switch (WP 0058 00).
6.
Cut heater/AC unit connector (3) from wires (11 and 12) and pull wires in through grommet on right side of heater/AC
unit (1).
7.
With assistance, remove two nuts (8) from welded studs (9), lower blower assembly (10), and remove from heater/
AC unit (1).
8.
Disconnect four blower motor wires (11) from blower motor.

INSTALLATION
1.
Connect four blower motor wires (11) to blower motor.
CAUTION
Use caution not to damage wiring when installing blower assembly inside heater/AC unit.
2.
With assistance, position blower assembly (10) in heater/AC unit (1): Route one end of two wires (12) toward ther-
mostatic switch at front of cab. Feed other end of wires (12) and wires (11) out through grommet on right side of
heater/AC unit (1).
3.
Install two nuts (8) on welded studs (9) to secure blower assembly (10).
