LOWER STEERING COLUMN INSTALLATION - CONTINUED
3.
Apply a thin coat of grease to splines of lower steering column (14).
4.
As an assembly, position lower steering column (14) to vehicle and to shaft of steering gear (19) with matchmarks
aligned.
5.
Install screw (18) and nut (17) to yoke of lower steering column (14). Tighten nut to 26 lb-ft (35 Nm).
