DRAINING AND FILLING RADIATOR - CONTINUED

DRAINING

Perform an inspection of hoses and hose clamps to ensure there are no leaks. Check radiator (2) for leaks, damage or dirt

buildup.

Remove radiator cap (1) from top of radiator (2).

When servicing this vehicle, performing maintenance, or disposing of materials such as engine coolant,

transmission fluid, lubricants, battery acids or batteries, consult your unit/local hazardous waste disposal

center or safety office for local regulatory guidance. If further information is needed, please contact The

Place a suitable container under drain valve (3) of coolant tube (4) near bottom of radiator (2). Open drain valve and

allow coolant to drain from cooling system into a suitable container. Dispose of coolant in accordance with local policy

and ordinances. Ensure all spills are cleaned up.

Close drain valve (3).
