Install bearing retainer locknut (10). Tighten locknut to 55-65 lb-ft (74-88 Nm).

Position and support rear cover assembly (3) so that turning torque of P3 planetary carrier assembly can be checked after
installation of bearing retainer locknut (10). Use tool (J37035-1) to check turning torque. Maximum turning torque is 27
lb-in (3 Nm).
