Lift lower brakeshoe (6) and remove return spring (7).

Rotate lower brakeshoe (6) away from S-cam (9).

Remove two retaining springs (8), brakeshoes (1 and 6), and two anchor pins (10).

INSPECTION
1.
Brake lining thickness must be no less than 1/4 in.
2.
There must be no less than 1/32 in. clearance between top of brake lining and top of all rivet heads.
