8.
Install two bushings (17) in crosstie (7).
9.
Install latch bracket (13) and backing plate (14) to each side of hood (11) with two screws (12), washers (15), and new
locknuts (16).
10.
Install handle (9) and backing plate (8) on hood (11) with two screws (10).

NOTE
Perform step 11 for each of two hinges.
11.
Install spacer (6), shims, if equipped, and hinge (1) on front crossmember (4) with screw (2), two washers (3), and new
locknut (5).

Install hood liners (WP 0246 00).
Install engine hood assembly (WP 0242 00).
