INSTALLATION
NOTE
Refer to steps 11 through 13 to safely CONNECT battery cables to batteries after performing vehicle main-
tenance.
1.
Position battery cables (9, 24, and 25) through rubber hose (33) and install conduit and tape to battery cables.
2.
Position rubber hose (33) with battery cables (9, 24, and 25) to vehicle as an assembly.
3.
At terminal plate (26) at left side of engine, install battery ground cable (24) to stud with washer (28) and nut (27).
4.
At large terminal stud of starter (32), install battery cable (9) with nut (34).
5.
At large terminal stud of starter solenoid (31), install battery cable (25) with washer (30) and nut (29).
6.
Position battery cables (2 and 14) to vehicle.
NOTE
Install all screws, clamps, caps, washers, and locknuts to secure battery cables to vehicle.
7.
Install four battery cables (2, 14, 24, and 25) to four screws (23) of master battery switch (20) with four new lockwash-
ers (22) and nuts (21).
