REMOVAL
NOTE
Perform steps 1 through 3 for easier access to starter.

Remove screw (2), washer (3), terminal plate (1), and hose bracket (4) from left side of engine.

Remove locknut (5), two washers (6), screw (7), and clamp (9) from hose bracket (8).
3.
Raise hose bracket (4) and hoses (10 and 11) and support from above with wire or twine.
