TM 9-2320-270-10 OPERATOR’S   SEAT   ADJUSTMENT   CONTROLS KEY 6 CONTROL  OR  INDICATOR FORWARD/BACKWARD ADJUSTMENT  CONTROL TORSION BAR ADJUSTMENT CONTROL 7 8 9 BACKRESTANGLE  ADJUST- MENT  CONTROL RIDE  LEVEL  INDICATOR (LOCATED  INSIDE  LEFT  FRAME UPRIGHT) FUNCTION/USE Use this control  to move seat forward or backward on its  slides. Use this control to adjust torsion bar preload to your weight. When torsion bar improper- Iy adjusted (refer to 9, below), you will be positioned midway in the seat suspension. Lift up on backrest and move this stop to one of three positions to set backrest angle. Indicates when you have correctly adjusted torsion bar for your weight. If torsion bar has too much or too little preload, the in- dicator will tilt forward or backward. Ad- just preload until the indicator is in the correct position as shown in illustration above.
