TM   9-2330-270-10 A P P E N D I X    B C O M P O N E N T S    O F    E N D    I T E M    A N D    B A S I C    I S S U E    I T E M S    L I S TS S e c t i o n     I .     I N T R O D U C T I ON B - 1 .    S C O P E This  appendix  lists  components  of  end  item  and  basic  issue  items  for  the  M911  Truck  Tractor to  help  you  inventory  items  required  for  safe  and  efficient  operation. B - 2 .     G E N E R AL The  Components  of  End  Item  and  Basic  issue  Items  Lists  are  divided  into  the  following sections: a. b. B-3. Section   II.   Components   of   End   Item.   This   listing   is   for   informational   purposes   only,   and is  not  authority  to  requisition  replacements.  These  items  are  part  of  the  end  item,  but  are removed  and  separately  packaged  for  transportation  or  shipment.  As  part  of  the  end item,  these  items  must  be  with  the  end  item  whenever  it  is  issued  or  transferred  between property  accounts.  Illustrations  are  furnished  to  assist  you  in  identifying  the  items. Section  III.  Basic  Issue  Items.  These  are  the  minimum  essential  items  required  to  place  the M911  Truck  Tractor  in  operation,  to  operate  it,  and  to  perform  emergency  repairs.  Although shipped  separately  packaged,  BII  must  be  with  the  Truck  during  operation  and  whenever  it  is transferred  between  property  accounts.  The  illustrations  will  assist  you  with  hard-to- identify   items.   This   manual   is   your   authority   to   request/requisition   replacement   BII,   based on   TOE/MTOE   authorization   of   the   end   item. E X P L A N A T I O N    O F    C O L U M N S The  following  provides  an  explanation  of  columns  found  in  the  tabular  listings: a. b. c. 1. 2. 3. Column   (1)   –   Illustration   Number   (Illus   Number).   This   column   indicates   the   number   of the  illustration  in  which  the  item  is  shown. Column   (2)   -   National   Stock   Number.   This   column   indicates   the   national   stock   number assigned  to  the  item  and  the  number  to  be  usad  for  ordering  items. Column  (3)  -  Description,  FSCM,  and  Part  Number,  and  Usable  On  code. Description  -  Indicates  the  federal  item  name,  and  if  necessary,  a  short  description  in parenthesis  to  help  identify  the  item. FSCM  -  Federal  Supply  Code  for  Manufacturer  is  a  five  digit  code  listed  in  SB  708-42 to   identify   manufacturer,   distributor,   or   Government   agency. Part   Number   –  Indicates  the  primary  number  used  by  the  manufacturer  to  control design  and  characteristics  of  the  item. B - 1
