WARNING Incorrect jumper cable hook-up will cause arcing and possible battery explo- sion, personnel injury, and equipment damage. CAUTION Do not let vehicles or cables touch each other during jump starting. Equip- ment damage may result. Always connect negative cable to power source last and disconnect first to prevent  sparks  and  possible  equipment  damage. Remove  jumper  cables  (1)  from  M911  Truck  Tractor  stowage. Attach red jumper cable (2) to power source, positive terminal (3) and to M911 Truck Tractor forward battery positive terminal (4). The M911 Truck Tractor is wired series parallel. Attach black jumper cable (5) to M911 Truck Tractor third battery from terminal (6) and to power source negative terminal (7). front negative 8. Start engine on vehicle with dead battery (power source vehicle engine off). 9. Disconnect jumper cables from both vehicles (negative cable first) when engine starts. 10. Stow cables. 2-104
