Check for loose hammer case socket head capscrews (1).
If hammer case socket head capscrews are loose, tighten
capscrews to 13-15 lb-ft (17.6-18.3 N.m).
If hammer case socket head capscrews are tight, notify direct
support maintenance.
114. IMPACT WRENCH WILL NOT OPERATE.
Check for damaged hose couplers.
If hose couplers are damaged, repair tool hose couplers
(page 4-471).
If hose couplers are not damaged, perform Malfunction 76.
115. IMPACT WRENCH WILL NOT OPERATE IN ONE DIRECTION ONLY.
Check for loose and missing setscrew (1) in directional control lever (2).
If setscrew in directional control lever is loose or missing,
tighten or replace setscrew.
If setscrew in directional control lever is not loose or missing,
notify direct support maintenance.
