Connecting Hydraulic Tools to Hydraulic Hose Reel.

WARNING

Do not activate hydraulic tool circuit when hydraulic tools are disconnected from

hose reel fittings. To do so will cause excessive oil temperature resulting in damage

to pump and possible personal injury.

If tool quick disconnects were disconnected while under pressure, use BII (Basic

Issue Items) tools and slowly loosen one hose fitting to free trapped pressure.

Protect eyes from fluid spray. Failure to do so could result in personal injury.

CAUTION

Wipe quick disconnects clean with lint-free cloth before attaching hoses. Damage to

internal parts of tools could result from dirt on couplings.

NOTE

The following procedures apply to all hydraulic tools.

(1) Lay tool on tarp or clean, dry surface.

(2) Pull hoses (1) from hose reel.

(3) Insert tool hose coupler into hose reel coupler. Turn tool hose coupler approximately 1/8 turn to lock in

place.
