Dry cleaning solvent (Item 31, Appendix B)
Rags (Item 28, Appendix B)
Tools/Test Equipment:
One gasket
Two lockwashers
General mechanic's tool kit
Two oil seals
Field automotive shop set
Twelve preformed packings
General Safety Instructions:
Dry cleaning solvent is flammable and must not be used near open flame. Use only in a well-ventilated area.

REMOVAL
NOTE
Use a drain pan to catch fluid when disconnecting lines from fittings. Clean up all
spills.
1.
Disconnect brake line (7) from elbow (6).
2.
Disconnect brake line (9) from elbow (8).
3.
Remove two capscrews (5) and lockwashers (4) from hydraulic cylinder (3) and reverser top cover (1). Discard
lockwashers.
4.
Remove hydraulic cylinder (3) and gasket (2) from reverser top cover (1). Discard gasket.
