Indicator rod (2)
a.
Apply engine oil between level indicator
indicator (1)
(1) and indicator rod (2).
Allow enough time for oil to pen-
trate and run down length of
indicator rod.
b.
Using clean dry rags, wipe off any excess oil.
c.
If protective paint has worn off of indicator
rod (2), lightly oil exposed areas.
