Operate backhoe controls
disassembled from
(TM 5-2420-222-10) and check for leaks.

If leaking at any connection, tighten
valve and swing
using two 7/8-inch, 1-inch, 11/16-
cylinder
inch, 5/8-inch, 1 3/8-inch, 1 1/4-
inch, 1 1/8-inch and 1 1/16-inch
open-end wrenches.
c.
If leaking does not stop, shut down
engine (TM 5-2420-222-10) and
replace leaking connection packing
or hose as outlined in this task.
d.
If found leaking, repeat steps 80
thru 82.

Engine
If still running, shut down
(TM 5-2420-222-10).
