a. Unplug valve (4).
with assembled
b. Screw in and tighten using 1 1/4-
packing (2)
inch open-end wrench.

Hose (4)
a. Take off tag.
b. Screw on and tighten using 1 1/16-
inch and 1 1/4-inch open-end
wrenches.

Loader backhoe
Transmission
Check fluid level and add proper amount
and grade (TM 5-2420-222-10).

Engine
Start and run at high idle
(TM 5-2420-222-10).

Manifold-to-
a. Check for leaks.
hydraulic oil
b. If leaking at any connection, tighten
filter relief
using 1 1/16-inch and two 1 1/4-inch
valve oil line
open-end wrenches.
c. If leaking does not stop, shut down
engine (TM 5-2420-222-10) and
replace leaking connection packing,
fitting, or hose as outlined in this
task.
d. If found leaking, repeat steps 21
thru 23.

If still running, shut down
