extension, and ratchet handle, unscrew
packing (7)
and take out.
b. Cap steering valve (6) (page 2-137).
c. Get rid of drained fluid (page 2-137).
7. Check valve (4)
Packing (7)
a. Using pocket knife, take off.
b. Get rid of.
NOTE
Steps 8 thru 10 only apply to loader backhoes with Serial Numbers 319995 thru 342573.

unscrew and take off.

Check valve (8)
a. Using 7/8-inch, 1/2-inch drive socket,
with assembled
5-inch extension, and ratchet handle,
packing (10)
unscrew and take out.
b. Cap steering valve (6) (page 2-137).
c. Get rid of drained fluid (page 2-137).
10. Check valve (8)
Packing (10)
a. Using pocket knife, take off.
b. Get rid of.
