Check fluid level and add proper amount
and grade (TM 5-2420-222-10).

Engine
Start and run at high idle
(TM 5-2420-222-10).

Special elbow-to-

Operate steering (TM 5-2420-222-10)
left steering
and check for leaks.

b.
If leaking at any connection, tighten
using open-end wrench.
c.
If leaking does not stop, shut down
engine (TM 5-2420-222-10) and
replace leaking connection packing or
hose as outlined in this task.
d.
If leak was found, repeat step 17.
20.
Engine
If still running, shut down
(TM 5-2420-222-10).
