WARNING
Drycleaning solvent P-D-680 is toxic and flammable. Wear protective goggles and gloves and use only in
a well ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothes and dont breathe vapors. Do not use
near open flame or excessive heat. The flashpoint is 100°F to 1380F (380 to 590C). If you become dizzy
while using cleaning solvent, get fresh air immediately and get medical aid. If contact with eyes is made,
wash your eyes with water and get medical aid immediately.

Clean in drycleaning solvent.
b.
Using clean, dry rags, wipe dry.
INSPECTION/REPLACEMENT

Replace defective parts as needed.

Two bushings (1)
Look for cracks, breaks, and scores.

All other parts
Look for cracks, bends, and breaks.
15.
All threaded parts
Look for damaged threads.

NOTE
There are two brake pedal bushings, one is shown. Repeat step 16 for other bushing, if needed.

If removed, using 0.6875-inch outside
diameter remover and installer and
arbor press, press in.
b.
If removed, repeat step a for other
bushing.

Position pedal (2) in machinists vise.

Place in position.
