CORRECTIVE ACTION

Step 2.

Remove engine oil pressure switch (page 2-468). Connect Simplified Test Equipment For Internal

Combustion Engines (STE/ICE) to flywheel housing. Start engine (TM 5-2420-222-10) and check

for 35 to 65 psi (242 to 448 kPa) on the STE/ICE readout display. Shut down engine (TM 5-2420-

222-10) and disconnect STE/ICE.

a. If display reads 35 to 65 psi (242 to 448 kPA), replace engine oil pressure switch (page 2-468).

b. If display reads less than 35 psi, install engine oil pressure switch (page 2-468). Go to step 3.
