2.
Use bushing driver set and press to install two bearings (22) and idler gear shaft (5) in pump body (2) as follows:
a.
Position bearings (22) in pump body (2) with chamfer on bearings facing toward outside of pump body. Bearing
joints should be oriented in pump body so that angle between joints and centerline of bearing bores is 30 15
degrees as shown.
b.
Press bearings (22) into pump body (2) until bearings are 0.060 in. (1.52 mm) below inside machined surface of
pump body (2).
