DRIVESHAFT AND U-JOINT REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

INSTALLATION
1.
Install U-joint (4) to each end of driveshaft (1) with four new lockwashers (6) and capscrews (5). Tighten capscrews to
40 lb-ft (54 Nm).
2.
Use a nylon sling to support driveshaft (1) with U-joints (4). Install on transmission and torque divider with eight new
lockwashers (3) and capscrews (2).

As required, apply grease to each U-joint grease fitting.
4.
Install floor plates (WP 0135 00).
