a. When a newly delivered vehicle is received at depot for storage, the responsible depot
representative will prepare four copies of the report completing Parts I and I I of the form. The par-
tially completed report will be distributed as follows:
(1) Forward one copy to AM General:
AM General Corporation
ATTN: Warranty Administration

(2) Forward one copy to:
Commander
US Army Tank Automotive Command
ATTN: DRSTA-MS
Warren, MI 48090
(3) Retain one copy with the vehicle.
(4) Retain one copy for depot files as required.
b. When the vehicle is removed from storage, to be placed in service, the responsible depot
representative will complete Part III of the previously prepared form(s) and make sufficient copies
of the completed report to distribute as follows:
(1) Forward one copy to AM General. The complete address is provided in Section VIII,
Paragraph 2a( 1).
(2) Place one copy with the vehicle.
(3) Forward one copy to the address given in Section VIII, Paragraph 2a(2).
(4) Forward one copy to:

Section IX. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
1. CONTESTED CLAIMS. If, upon analysis of the failed part(s), it is determined by AM General
or component suppliers that failure was not due to defective workmanship or material, the Govern-
ment will be invoiced for the list price of the part(s), labor borne by AM General in the repair, and
related freight costs.
2.
LABOR COSTS AND PARTS REPLACEMENT.
a . Charges for labor performed by the Government within the 50 states will be borne by AM
General, based on the prevailing hourly rate for such services and number of hours appearing in AM
General's flat rate schedule or the Government's actual cost, whichever is less.
