D. CHART - 2 - ENGINE CRANKS BUT WILL NOT START

NOTE: This chart is only to be used if:

1) All basic mechanical checks and physical inspections have been performed with no problem found; and,

2) Diagnosis of DDEC III/IV was started at step START-1, pg 2-539, and you have now been referred here.

DDR

Plug DDR into the DDL connector.

Active codes on DDR.

Follow appropriate diagnostic

Read active codes by selecting

charts for code(s) received.

(ACTIVE CODES) on the DDR.

Go to C 5-1.

Display reads "NO DATA

Go to START-6, page 2-543.
