TM 9-2320-360-34-1 RELIEF PRESSURE TEST (1)  Start engine (TM 9-2320-360-10). CAUTION Closing  the  load  valve  will  drop  the flow  to  zero  and  put  the  pump  into relief.    This  should  be  limited  to  10 seconds.      Failure   to   comply   may cause equipment damage. (2)  Slowly close the load valve and observe pump relief pressure.  Open the load valve. NOTE Turning    set    screw    clockwise    will increase     pressure.          Turning     set screw counterclockwise will decrease pressure. (3)  Turn slotted set screw plunger on front steering pump compensator to adjust pressure. (4)  Push down the load valve lever. (5)  Shut off engine (TM 9-2320-360-10). (6)  Remove hose from steering gear and hydraulic systems tester. (7)  Remove hose no.  2301 form hydraulic systems tester and install on steering gear.
