TM9-2320-360-20-3 Section  4 TROUBLESHOOTING CHARTS E. ENG5V - ENGINE HARNESS +5 VOLTS SUPPLY NOTE  - This chart is only to be used if: 1)  All  basic  mechanical  checks  and  physical  inspections  have been performed with no problem found, and 2) Diagnosis of DDEC-III was started at step START-1, pg H-25 and you have now been referred here. STEP/SEQUENCE ENG5V-1 Check for Low Battery    voltage l Was there also a Code 168/1? Yes. Go to 46-1 (page H-217). No. Go  to  ENG5V-2. ENG5V-2  Check  for  +  5  Volts l Turn  ignition  off. l Disconnect  the  Oil  Pressure Sensor (OPS) and Turbo Boost Sensor  (TBS)  connectors. l Turn  ignition  on. At  each  sensors  harness connector,  read  voltage  between socket C (red lead) and sockets A (black  lead). ENG5V-3 Check ECM Connectors l Check  terminals  at  the  engine harness  connector  (both  the  ECM and  harness  side)  for  damaged, bent,  corroded  and  unseated  pins or  sockets. RESULT WHAT  TO  DO  NEXT Between   4.7 Voltage  reading  is  correct.  Check and  5.2  volts. voltage  at  next  connector.  If  all connector  voltage  readings  are correct,  go  to  ENG5V3. Less  than 4.7 volts  at  any or  all  connectors. Greater  than 5.2 volts at  all  connectors. Go  to  ENG5V4. Go  to  ENG5V-6. Terminals   and connectors  are  okay.. Replace ECM (para 7-29.1) Then go to ENG5V-30. Repair   terminals/connectors (para 7-77. Then go to ENG5V-30. Problems  found. H-241
