TM9-2320-360-20-3 Section  4 TROUBLESHOOTING CHARTS E.   FLASHCODE:   14 Jl587  CODE: P110  3  -  COOLANT  TEMPERATURE  CIRCUIT  FAILED  HIGH  (VOLTAGE  HIGH) OR: P175  3  -  OIL  TEMPERATURE  CIRCUlT  FAILED  HIGH  (VOLTAGE  HIGH) STEP/SEQUENCE 14-9 Open  line  Check l Turn  ignition  off. l Disconnect  the  engine  harness connector  at  the  ECM. l Read  resistance  between  sockets R2  (ckt  #120)  and  Y2  (ckt  #452) on  the  engine  harness  connector. 14-10  Check  ECM Connectors l Check  terminals  at  the  ECM engine  harness  connector  (both the ECM and harness side) for damage;  bent,  corroded,  and unseated  pins  or  sockets. 14-11  Check  ECM Connectors l Check  terminals  at  the engine  harness  connector  (both the ECM and harness side) for damage;  bent,  corroded,  and unseated  pins  or  sockets. 14-30  Verify  Repairs l Turn  ignition  off. l Reconnect  all  connectors. l Turn  ignition  on. l Clear   codes. l Note  status  of  “Check  Engine” light. l If  ‘Check  Engine”  light  does  not stay  on,  start  engine  and  run (TM   9-2320-360-10)   until “Check Engine” light comes on or  after  8  minutes.  Stop  engine. l Read  inactive  codes. RESULT I WHAT  TO  DO  NEXT Go to 14-11. Signal line (ckt #120) or return line  (ckt  #452)  is  open.  Repair open.  Then  go  to  14-30. Problem  found. Replace ECM (para 7-29.1). Then  go  to  14-30. Repair   terminals/connectors (para  7-77).  Then  go  to  14-30. Replace  ECM  (para  7-29.1). connectors  are  okay. I Then  go  to  14-30. No  codes. Code  110/3  or  175/3 (any  other  codes.) Repairs  are  complete. All  system  diagnostics  are complete.  Please  review  this section  from  the  start  to  find  the error. Any  other  codes except  Codes  110/3 or  175/3. Go to START-1, pg H-25, to  service  other  codes. H-125
