Turn  ignition  on. l Read  voltage  on  vernier  control harness  connector  pin  B  (525) to  pin  A  (952). 12-6  (Deleted) 12-7 Check   ECM Connector8 l Disconnect  the  vehicle  harness connector. l Check  terminals  at  the vehicle  harness  connector  (both ECM and harness side) for damage;  bent,  corroded,  and unseated  pins  or  sockets. Greater  than  1.0  volts. Signal line (ckt #510 or #525) is shorted to the vehicle +5 volt line  (ckt  #916)  or  another  voltage source.  Repair  short. Then  go  to  12-30. Less  than  or  equal to  1.0  volts. Go  to  12-7. Replace ECM (pare 7-29.1). Then  go  to  12-30. Problem  found. Repair   terminals/connectors (pare  7-77).  Then  go  to  12-30. H-113
