CONTINUITY TEST
(1)
Turn ENGINE switch OFF.
(2)
Disconnect engine harness at
ECM connector.
(3)
Read resistance between
sockets T1 and T1 engine
harness connector.
Inspect DDEC pulse wheel for tightness,
as well as for chipped or missing teeth.
(1)
Disconnect all connectors at ECM.
(2)
Check terminals at all ECM connectors
(both the ECM and harness side) for
damaged, bent, corroded and unseated
pins or sockets.
