NOTE If   a   rubber   hose   is   not   available,   use   a   piece of   patch   material,    rubber   (piece   of   inner   tube), gasket,   or   poncho   material.   If   a   hose   clamp   is not   available,   use   tape,   lacing   wire,   or   copper wire.   Check   system   fluid   level   frequently. 1. Use   a   piece   of   reinforced   hose   with   an   inside   diameter   equal   to   the   outside diameter   of   the   tube. 2. Split   the   hose   lengthwise. 3. Coat   the   inside   of   the   hose   with   sealant,   if   available.   Install   hose   over   the leak   with   the   split   opposite   the   leak. 4. Secure   with   a   hose   clamp   directly   over   the   leaking   area. 5. Record   the   BDAR   action   taken. When   the   mission   is   completed,   as   soon   as practicable, repair   using   standard   maintenance   procedures. 3-31.
