APPENDIX B
SPECIAL AND FABRICATED TOOLS/WELDING EXPEDIENTS
BDAR FIXES SHALL BE USED ONLY IN COMBAT
AT THE DISCRETION OF THE COMMANDER
AND SHALL BE REPAIRED BY STANDARD MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES
AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE AFTER THE MISSION IS COMPLETED.

SCOPE
This appendix lists items recommended for the support of the vehicle in a combat
environment.
The items listed may be required for battlefield damage assessment
and repair at maintenance levels from crew thru DS. Also listed are expedient
tools for performing BDAR repairs using nonstandard equipment.
