General    Information: A   broken   left   or   right   axle   shaft   will   cause   the   axle   to   lose   its   ability   to   drive the   vehicle.   The   vehi front   axle. Remove   damaged   axle   shaft. 2. Cut   the   axle   as   close   to   the   cap as   possible.Install   cap   on   the   hub. Materials/Tools: o   Rags o  Cardboard o   Cutting   torch o   Washers o   Ratchet o   Socket 3. Record   the   BDAR   action   taken. When   the   mission   is   completed,   as soon   as   practicable,   repair   using standard   maintenance   procedures. 10-3 10-8
