Publication, LEBT3477, "Truck Performance and
Intermittent Low Power or
Driveability Diagnostic Guide".
Power Cutout
3. Check the fuel pressure. Refer to Testing and
Adjusting, "Fuel System Pressure - Test".
SMCS Code: 7569
4. Ensure that the fuel system has been primed.
Probable Causes
Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Fuel System -
Prime".
The probable root causes are listed in order below:
5. Check for fuel supply lines that are restricted.
Electrical connections
6. Check the fuel filters.
Engine Monitoring
7. If the temperature is below 0 C (32 F), check

1. Check the engine oil level. Engine oil is used to
activate the high pressure hydraulic pump.
Low injection actuation pressure
2. Ensure that the engine oil meets the
recommendations of the engine manufacturer.
Recommended Actions
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for
further details.
Perform the following diagnostic procedures in
order:
3. Crank the engine and monitor the injection
