COOLANT OVERFLOW BOTTLE REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

REMOVAL
WARNING
When servicing this vehicle, performing maintenance, or disposing of materials such as engine coolant,
transmission fluid, lubricants, battery acids or batteries, consult your unit/local hazardous waste disposal
center or safety office for local regulatory guidance. If further information is needed, please contact The

NOTE
Coolant overflow bottle capacity is 1.5 gal (5.7 L).
1.
Loosen hose clamp (7) at bottom of bottle (1).
2.
Disconnect rubber hose (6) and drain coolant from bottle (1) into a drain pan. Dispose of coolant in accordance with
local policy and ordinances. Clean up all coolant spills.
3.
Remove four nuts (4), screws (5), and back plate (2), with bottle (1), from mounting bracket (3).
