Operating Instructions, Operations under Unusual Conditions 2-13.   OPERATE VEHICLE IN EXTREME COLD ENVIRONMENT (-26_F [-32_C] TO -50_F [-46_C]). a. Before operating Load Handling System (LHS), perform warm-up as follows: (1)   With engine running at idle, put PTO ENGAGE switch (1) in ON position. Make sure indicator light (2) is on. (2)   Select AUTO position on the hydraulic selector switch (3). Allow pump to operate for five minutes at idle. LHS is then ready for operation at idle. (3)   Cycle at idle the LHS (Para 2-9). (4)   After one complete cycle at idle, the LHS is ready for normal operation.
